New England Primate Conservancy is committed to leaving a legacy of hope and tools to create a better tomorrow for all of the Earth's citizens.
We're all about humane education and animal protection
At New England Primate Conservancy, we raise awareness about the needs for primate protection, for those captive and wild.
The Primate Conservancy reminds us to leave wild animals in the wild, to preserve their habitats, and to be cognizant of the delicate balance of fauna and flora to support healthy ecosystems. One cannot survive without the other.
The Conservancy urges protection for and support of domestic animals, and the need to nurture and protect our domesticated animals.
It is the promise of hope for a better tomorrow. We ask everyone to be part of the solution before it's too late.
New England Primate Conservancy is guided by five basic principles:
We apply those principles to each of our program, which include:
Education is the heart of animal protection.
With an eye toward responsible stewardship of our planet and her creatures, we offer fun learning activities, engaging lesson plans, stories, facts, presentations, videos, and a wealth of resources for your personal interest or to create stimulating multi-disciplinary learning environments. Because education is at the heart of animal protection.
Protecting animals through education, awareness, and care.
At our farm sanctuary, animals find refuge from slaughter, a place to heal from neglect, or a safe landing when their people can no longer afford their care. Our ultimate goal is to provide lifelong care to captive monkeys that are retired from entertainment or research, or that were pets.
